Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Odd digits are land and even digits are sea. All land is part of Kropki Island. Any piece of land can be reached from any other piece of land through a series of orthogonal movements without stepping into the sea.
If two consecutive digits appear in two neighbouring cells, they are separated by a white dot. If the digit in a cell is half of the digit in the neighbouring cell, then they are separated by a black dot. A dot between 1 and 2 can either be white or black.
You can solve the sudoku in Your web browser using this link. If you right-click on the link and open it in a new tab, You can easily go back to this page and enter the solution code.

I used the islands rule - it made it nice and fun. I look forward to your next one

I quite enjoyed coloring in the islands! It was fun to use the extra rule!

Thank you, Laarry! I think so, too. But I'd like to make it so that you can't miss the island logic. Also, I think it's a bit more elegant if the solution path is a bit more narrow. So I'll keep working on another version!
Anyway, I'm glad that you enjoyed this one as much as I did myself!

very nice! I personally think it doesn't matter if it's solvable without the island rule, the island path is still fun!

I changed the name to Kropki Island (Beta), as I will make an improved version where the island rule is necessary for the solve.

Island rules are not necessary. I wonder if the sudoku rules are necessary.

Dear Greg and bigger,
Thank you for your feedback. The solution code should now work.
You're right in that the island logic doesn't seem to be necessary for the solve, but my test solvers did use it. However, I'm planning to remove the negative constraint and a few kropki dots in order to force the use of the island rule and make the solution path a bit more interesting.

Trying to fix the solution code

Solution code is not accepted. Also this solves as a regular Kropki, the island rule does not affect the solving path...
