Clues outside the grid give the sum of the digits up to (and including) the first even or up to (and including) the first odd digit from that direction. Single-digit clues may just give the first digit.
Parity Party is a novelty type we want to introduce this year. It was invented by glum_hippo. You can find more puzzles by him by looking for puzzles with the "Parity Party" tag. Most of them use additional rules.
Be careful to not get confused when you look at the "Parity Parade" puzzle in Richard Stolks Sudoku Variant Series. He changed the rules and the name slightly and requires a parity change in the added digits. We do not.

Finally! I restarted this 4 or 5 times because of stupid (wrong) assumtions). Lovely puzzle!
