I think the idea of 'shy' digits is nice, and I hope you will soon feel encouraged to try setting another puzzle.

nette Idee

Enjoyed the concept, though as said below it mostly just gave the starting positions of the 5s. One of the boxes didn't seem to use the concept despite looking like it might, which I found a little odd. Overall I found it amusing and look forward to more.

It could be nicer if the solvers have to figure out the "shy" digit for themselves. There is potential.

The images get a 6-digit-number when uploaded. You directly should copy it and paste it later into the html code.
If you have lost the number, you find it by clicking on "Create a new puzzle" and in the container "Datei hochladen" (=upload file) you must click on "Alle Dateien bearbeiten" (=edit all files). Then you get a list of all your images with the numbers.
In your html code you must call it with
<IMG:######>.

The HTML-code in my puzzle 15H is only <img:0001IF>. I think, when uploading, you get a 6-digit number. Perhaps upload again and remember the code.

For some reason the html for the image is not parsed. Copied the code from looking at the source code for the page of the uploaded file and set in the puzzle description:
<img src="/Dateien/bild.php?data=e3519057-9542-62696c64">

Very tricky, I like it, but please upload an image!

Improved rules description
am 15. Januar 2021, 19:33 Uhr von Klomp
Thanks for the feedback, i will try to improve the rules description and add picture. I'm finding i'm logic apprentice at best and will probably not set another in the foreseeable future. Hopefully someone will take my idea and make something up to standard with it.

The shy digit idea is great!
IMHO The sample puzzle is a bit to "samply" I just made up that word but what I mean is that it has way too many rules in play but it does not go further with any of them. Almost all the rules in place are there just to give you the location of a single 5 and are not interacting with the rest of the puzzle. I would rather see a puzzle that focuses in just one or two type of clues like killer cages and thermos for example (which from the puzzle were the best at interacting), which would require a bit more of deduction of when and where to put the 5 (or whatever is the Shy digit). Otherwise it is just a classic sudoku in disguise.
Regarding presentation, there are certain unspoken rules about presenting a puzzle here. For sudokus or puzzles that require images it is good form to provide a pdf or jpeg image directly here. Now a days f-puzzles has become very popular but think of these as something intended to be more permanent. 10 years from now the portal and the puzzle might still be here f-puzzles might not.
Online links (with proper hyperlink) are nice but images are more important.
In the same regard, full descriptions of the rules of a puzzle are important. Think that anybody who understands English or German should be able to understand what the symbols are after reading your instructions… Palindrome, arrow, Kropki: black dot, white dot and killer cage all should be defined. You can browse around the website and copy paste these rules from other puzzles. You can also look at Html code from other puzzles and copy paste what you need. Use of capital “I” is also a plus because it makes it more presentable.
I hope you don’t take this feedback badly. I just wanted to point out a direction for improvement and also to help explain why the ratings on the puzzle might not be too good (I could be wrong). It is not easy to please LMD as you might find out, but that does not mean you should be discouraged from setting, there is plenty of chance to improve. :)

Like the idea, maybe needs to be combined with 2-3 other rules maximum and allow those rules scope to be across boxes. As restricted within a box some fall a little too easily

I like the idea of a digit acting as a box number. I don't like the puzzle. It's all a bit too random, and easy.

I like the concept! :) Thanks for the puzzle!
@noggin -- it means that when the 5 is in box 1, it pretends it's a 1 (and acts like a 1 in all respects)
