Standard Sudoku Rules apply to the final numerical layout.
Standard Little Killer Rules apply: Cells along a given diagonal sum to the number next to the arrow.
Circles: The four-cell "cubicle" surrounding the circle must sum to the number inside the circle.
All Little Killers and Circles contain at least one repeated digit, and all possible clues with repeated digits are indicated.

Setter's Notes :: January 10, 2021 :: While pure setting wizardry escapes me, I did work quite long and hard through a lot of failed attempts to create this one. I focused on one specific break-in which, hopefully, will prove to be challenging to realize but rewarding once you do.
But I have discovered in the past that sometimes when I focus on creating a break-in, I overlook a very simple solution elsewhere in the puzzle and then everyone solves it in minutes and I give myself a facepalm. I'll take a chance on 4 Stars for difficulty and hope I'm right. If you take the time to solve this one, I'd be very interested in reading (as a Hidden Comment) what the first two or three digits you placed were.
Lösungscode: Column 2, then Row 2

Very original puzzle, nice! I did follow your intended path, but realized when I nearly finished that SirWoezel's method would have probably been a bit more complete.
** You reached the end, that's the important part. Oooo, and on my birthday even! ha ha
