Consecutive Path Sudoku

(Published on 22. November 2020, 00:09 by brandon_bot)

I'm really happy with how the opening logic turned out :)

Rules:

  1. Normal sudoku rules apply.
  2. For each 1 digit on the board, there exists a path starting at that 1, which then connects to a 2, which then connects to a 3... all the way to 9 using only orthogonally adjacent cells.

Provided is an example board which meets this constraint for its given 1's:

See the example board provided. In the example, two 1's connect to the same 8 so there is at least one 8 remaining that does not need to be used in a path and therefore is not required to connect to a 7 and 9.
