The rules
- Normal Killer Sudoku rules apply - fill every row/column/box with numbers 1-9. Cages must sum to totals, etc...
- In addition, every cage contains kropki dots that must be placed by the solver. The exact number of dots of each type are the digits in the cage sum total. For example, a 21 means there are either 2 black dots (2:1 ratio) and 1 white dot (difference of 1) or 2 white dots and 1 black dot. Within a cage, all possible kropki dots would have to be given. Dots between a 1 and 2 could count for either black or white.

This puzzle doesn't interact well with UIs, doesn't explicitly say cages are unique, and has a fairly complex ruleset.
That said, once I had the rules in my head it was great fun -- the interaction between all the rules is really beautiful and provides an unusually smooth flow from break-in to final solve (no "break-in is brutal, then the puzzle falls apart" here!).

Great puzzle! I'll blame it on not having had coffee that I was convinced that 1-7 add to 30 and therefore couldn't get the 9 in that top right box without it conflicting with the bottom right one. And then I forgot that 30 is not 31 as well... Congrats on your birthday! Gonna brew some necessities now

Wow! Thanks for the love everybody -- glad you enjoyed it. Nice birthday (10/11/81) gift to me to see it so well appreciated! Too bad it doesn't have a bunch of 39 cages, but you can't get 3 and 9 Kropki dots in a single cage.
