Revenge of the Zeros
(Eingestellt am 20. September 2020, 15:10 Uhr von Joseph nehme)
Zero will not stay silent anymore. The days where Zero is excluded from Sudoku puzzles are done. Zero is taking a stand. It will infiltrate the grid....
Rules:
- Normal Standard Sudoku rules ALMOST apply.
- Each 3x3 box, column and row must be filled with numbers from 0 to 9.
- All prime numbers (2,3,5,7) and 0 must be included in each 3x3 box, row and column once. So there are 9 of each of the numbers 0,2,3,5,7.
- 0 Will take the place (infiltrate) of a digit if that digit is surrounded only by prime numbers. (As previously stated, 0 can NOT take the place of prime numbers). Surrounded means all orthogonally adjacent cells have to be composed of only prime numbers.
-The digit that 0 takes its place can not appear in the same box, row or column as the 0 that took its place. See example below for more clarification.
- Outlined regions are cages. The sum of digits in a cage is given in the top-left and digits cannot repeat.
- Digits along thermometers strictly increase from bulb to end. If 0 is on the thermometer, it must be on the bulb.

Example:
In this example you can see that the zero is surrounded by only prime numbers. It took the place of a 6. So no 6 can appear in the box, row or column. I hope it is clear. If you have any questions, you can ask me via the comments section.
Please send me your comments and feedback, I hope you like it. Enjoy :)

I solved the sequel to this puzzle first, and made the mistake of assuming the rules were the same. They're not. I kept thinking I'd made a mistake because the same number had to be 0 in multiple boxes. Once I actually read the rules, the puzzle solved really nicely and fairly easily.

Nice puzzle! I forgot, and so never used, the fact that every cell adjacent only to primes must be a 0. Maybe that would have made it easier.
@Zero: You'll always be welcome in 10-in-9 puzzles; e.g. 10-in-9 killer sudoku #3 https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/Raetsel/zeigen.php?id=00037M .

@fpac In fact, every instance where a cell is orthoganally adjacent to only prime numbers, that cell must be a zero at the finish solution.

nice puzzle. a little confusing at the beginning, but the 0 MUST be surrounded by primes. it sounded like, from your instructions, that it'd take the place IF IT HAPPENED TO BE surrounded, but didn't necessarily have to be.
all in all, a nice one!
