This seems like an interesting puzzle but I have not been around this website for NEARLY as long as I ought to have been for any of this to even remotely have any sort of context lol

I needed hint 4, coupled with the the fact that you specifically invited me to this puzzle, before it eventually came to me.
Thanks for the invite. Can't believe I stumbled on this now. Just happened to be looking at some old puzzles and saw it.

Tough sequence which took me for a SPIN! Really rewarding once I got the right idea :-)

It was tough to work out and I did need the hints. Nice one!

Well, it's hard to comment.
At least after the solving I do not feel annoyed, let's say.

Added the Mystery tag.
Rationale behind tags (copied from forum):
-Sequence: A sequence of numbers, letters, etc. where you usually have to find out the next element or the law of formation.
- Mystery: A puzzle in which you (partially) have to find out what you actually have to do.
- Meta: A puzzle that relates to another puzzle in terms of content.
Hopefully, this also reduces ambiguity in Hint 3.

Needed hints to solve it but still enjoyed the moment I suddenly put it all together. :)
Reply: I am very happy that you liked it Greg. Thank you.

Maximum enjoyment. I will not give a difficult rating though.

Normally a puzzle like this would be ROUNDLY criticized for being too esoteric, but I did like it.

Added hints :) Leaving stars the same due to hints. Let the public vote.

The below commentary/hints are hilarious! :-D
That is super tough. Very nice one Narayana!
Maybe you should add the below commentary as being part of the puzzle. Then you might get more solves and the solver more enjoyment, if someones stumbles across this sequence puzzle.

Tut mir leid, da "klingelt" nichts.

I have marked the locations of Hints like this: "*)"
There are 4 stars total. Though one just reinforces the other so in total 3 key ideas. I am happy to reply to questions about any of them in a hidden comment.

I have given two hints previously.
*)But they still don't ring a bell. :( Hopefully they will ring something!
*)This puzzle should be exhausting, but not for the solver! :)

Still underestimated? ;-)

@SKORP17 I've tried ringing the numbers a couples of times, but the call keeps getting disconnected. :-D
*) Reply: You need to wait until it rings 5 times before hanging up. Even if your phone makes no sound.

Tired of this sequence! "How about a sudoku?"
The numbers don't speak to me
*) Reply: I can’t say no to that ;)

@CHalb & SKORP17
Thank you for your feedback and help with grammar. I have made changes in order to make both english and german versions as similar as possible.
As CHalb says, the intent of this puzzle is to make the instructions as minimal as possible and let the numbers speak from themselves. Some interpretation is needed, but I promise you that it has nothing to do with how the words are written. It is more about the meaning.
In short: It was never the intent to create a "Red herring" with capitalization.
am 2. September 2020, 21:43 Uhr von Narayana
Equalizing minor grammar differences between English and German versions. Set difficulty to 3 incase I underestimated.
This is a kind of mystery puzzle since it is without a clear instruction. My opinion: In such a puzzle EVERY SMALL DETAIL is important for us solvers because it MIGHT be important for us.
So the differing descriptions of the solution code in German and English attract my attention as well.
In English sequence with lower case is correct, in German folge with lower case for a noun is wrong.
am 2. September 2020, 11:15 Uhr von CHalb
Well, almost :-). Folge as a noun with capital F.
am 2. September 2020, 11:12 Uhr von Narayana
@CHalb Danke
Is it correct now?
Oh but the english one also has lower case... maybe it is not as important. ;)
How about the better German translation I'm suggesting?
am 2. September 2020, 09:23 Uhr von Narayana
Deutscher Name:
“Müde von Sudoku? Wie wäre es mit einer folge?”
Der Name ist sehr wichtig für die Lösung!
