Turtle Sudoku 9s and 8s

Normal sudoku rules apply.
Each number next to a row refers to the square with a “9” in that row, and is the sum of all squares that are orthogonally adjacent to that square. Each number above a column refers to the square with a “8” in that column, and is the sum of all squares that are orthogonally adjacent to that square.
Example:
The puzzle:
solving online: penpa
Lösungscode: Column 8 from top to bottom, then column 9 from top to bottom. No gaps between numbers.

Beauty and the Beast!!!
That was the craziest puzzle I have ever solved (especially to show uniqueness). The sums on the sides are not that hard, but the symmetry does make this quite tough. I have no idea how you set this beautiful monster :-)
