Thermo Arrow Sudoku

(Eingestellt am 7. August 2020, 04:41 Uhr von JonnyKaufman)

In the opera world, we have a saying: "In bocca al lupo." This Italian idiom translates into English as "Into the mouth of the wolf" and is the superstitious equivalent of "break a leg." Basically, in theaters across the world, these idioms are used to wish colleagues the opposite of the spoken intentions in order to not jinx their performance. This puzzle is a take on that tradition.

RULES:

1. Normal Sudoku rules apply.

2. Exactly one of the 3x3 boxes in the grid contains a Magic Square. You must determine which (no extra regions etc.)

3. Digits increase along the thermometers starting from the bulb end.

4. Digits along the arrows sum up to the digit inside the respective circle.

Puzzle also available to solve using the F-Puzzles tool: Thermo Arrow Sudoku

We say "Hals- und Beinbruch" in Germany (not only in theaters). So there seems to be a worldwide tradition of verbally wishing bad luck, but meaning exactly the opposite.

Edit: Thats actually interesting, see the "origin" section at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Break_a_leg .

@Realshaggy I will be using this more often going forward, especially when I finally make my German debut :)

What a wolf, ahouuuuuuuuuuuu !!

@geronimo92, the logical path when solving this puzzle should lead one to howl like this upon completion. Well done ;)
