Killer Triplets Sudoku (Verabschieden Sie sich von den Zwillingen)
(Eingestellt am 30. Juli 2020, 03:00 Uhr von SudokuExplorer)
Last time, in my
tribute puzzle to tzael, the killer twin cages played a key role in the intended starting logic. However, there are multiple ways to solve that puzzle. This puzzle will highlight the other way (which I didn't notice whilst setting it, but maybe you did whilst solving it?) so do tell me how you find it.
Rules about Killer Triplet Cages:
In a killer triplet cage, each digit appears exactly three times within the cage.
No two cells a knight's move apart within the cage can be equal. (Anti-knight constraint inside the triplet cage).
Its cage sum is the total of all the digits in the cage.
In this sudoku, the two large cages with cage sums 36 and 57 are killer triplet cages.
Rule about Normal Killer Cage:
At the top, there is a normal killer cage with cage sum being a power of a prime (3,4,5,7,8,9,11,13,16 or 17).
(This will make more sense when you get near the end of this puzzle).
You can give this sudoku a try on
Penpa-Edit. Have fun solving!

To avoid confusion, I replaced "prime power" with "power of a prime"
