I met John Cleese a few weeks back, and - knowing he's a big fan of Sudokus - made him a quintet of puzzles inspired by his work. They get progressively harder.
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
The Black Knight always triumphs! Numbers in squares with a black background must be higher than each number they reach by knight’s move.
Didn’t know we had a king! Squares with a red background must not match any square they reach by king’s move.
1975, the year of release for Monty Python and the Holy Grail, must appear at least once in the Sudoku puzzle, in any orientation.
