What a fantastic puzzle! It looked very hard at first, but once I began to understand the interaction of some cages, it unfolded absolutely beautifully. Thank you very much for setting and sharing this gem, Phistomefel!

I rated this 3/5 difficulty.
Nice idea for a killer puzzle! This puzzle took me probably 10-15 minutes longer than it should have, but it was straightforward once I spotted/worked out the trick.
As soon as I opened the puzzle I intuitively knew exactly where the restrictive geometry was with this layout - and ended up spending around 15 minutes making very minor deductions and eliminating certain killer combinations, rather than actually trying to figure out the reason the 'key part' of the puzzle felt so restricted. I for whatever reason thought I didn't need to do the math, and focused on trying to chain reasoning around the restricted cells/cages (probably because I was feeling a bit lazy and didn't want to do the math) - but once I realized my original idea was going to be too complex to keep track of, I was forced to do the math and subsequently solved the rest of the puzzle without issue.
I would say the actual idea/logic for the break in was like 2-3/5 difficulty and was a totally fair deduction to be able to spot. The rest of the puzzle felt around 2-3/5 difficulty as well. Because of my stubborn attempt at the break in and failure to realize that I could actually just use basic geometry/sum tricks, I decided to tilt the scale towards 3/5 difficulty.
Either way, cool concept and a very nice trick!

This puzzle shows that there are enough possibilities in the standard variations. I like the new variations too, but this one got 100% with standard killer rules. Perfect!
And even those, who prefer non-sudoku puzzles, shouldn't miss this one.
