The three pictured figures T, + and E are each to be drawn four times on the edges of the grid. The figures may be rotated; they should not touch each other in any manner. The numbers above and left of the grid indicate, how often the corresponding direction cuts a figure T; the numbers below and right of the grid give the appropriate informations for figure E. If a direction cuts the same instance of a figure repeatedly, then this is considered in the numbers correspondingly often. There are no informations for figure +. For this piece some ideas of the puzzles FTZ ff were borrowed. |
Solution code: For each grid node of the top left starting diagonal the symbol T, + or E of the figure, which uses (i.e. touches or passes) the grid node respectively a "-", if all figures ignore the grid node. Then the appropriate data for the top right starting diagonal. (In total please 22 characters.)
