The series continues. This one is very likely easier than it looks (testers feedback ranged from 2.5 to 4). Have fun!
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
German whisper: Adjacent digits on a green line must differ by at least 5.
Fog: Some clues are hidden by fog. The fog clears as needed during the solve.
There is a 3 in the corner.
Four Rings: Draw four different rings in the grid. Each ring consists of eight cells forming a 3×3 area with the central cell missing. Rings may not touch each other, not even diagonally. All digits on a ring share the same parity (all odd or all even). There are exactly two odd and two even rings.
Each ring must satisfy at least one of the following properties, and each property is used by at least one ring:
- Dutch Whisper: Adjacent digits differ by at least 4.
- Chinese Whisper: Adjacent digits differ by at most 2.
- Ten Line: The digits can be partitioned into distinct contiguous segments, each summing to 10.
- Equality Line: All digits appear with equal frequency.
Two Hints for the break-in:
Ignore the visible German whispers and also ignore the 4 properties at first and try to determine the placement of the 4 rings using only the parity condition.
When you have determined the placements of the rings, think about the Chinese whisper one first. It will allow you to place the first digits.
