Almost five years ago, I made a series of puzzles revolving around the entity with codename "Scarecrow." The first puzzle in this series got featured in the CTC YT channel, so you can watch Mark Goodliffe's solve here:
A Masterful Debut Puzzle. Five years later, I am finally going to finish the Scarecrow saga once and for all.
The rules are as follows:
- Place the digits 1-9 once in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
- Extra Regions: Digits must not repeat within each of the colored extra regions.
- Disjoint Groups: Each digit occupies each possible position in a 3x3 box once.
The puzzle is available on
SudokuPad. Have fun solving or walking down memory lane if you attempted this puzzle all those years ago!
The sprite of Scarecrow is from the video game Defender of Texel, not created by me.
