Balanced Ouroboros

I've been thinking about this ruleset for a while, but just recently I came up with a puzzle I'm happy with. Enjoy the puzzle, all feedback is welcome!
Rules:
- Sudoku: Normal sudoku rules apply
- Whisper Loop: Draw a one-cell-wide loop which travels orthogonally through some cells in the grid. The loop may only touch itself diagonally, and adjacent digits on the loop differ by at least 5.
- Balanced Cages: Digits do not repeat in cages, and in some cages the total of all digits within that cage is given in the upper left corner. Within each cage, the sum of the digits not visited by the loop is equal to the sum of the digits that are visited by the loop.

@plasmath: Please clarify the circumstances under that is true. divided by box borders? Two adjacent numbers on the line? ...?
