For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a unique Sudoku variant every week.
Divisible Neighbours
Inspiration for this type comes from Sudoku GP 2026 (Turkish round).

I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.
Apply classic sudoku rules.
All cells containing a digit that is a divisor of the sum of all the digits orthogonally adjacent to it are shaded grey. (I.e.: A 4 that has 3,7,2,8 adjacent to it must be in a grey cell since 3+7+2+8=20 can be divided by 4; a 3 in the corner with 2 and 9 as neighbours is in a white cell since 2+9=11 cannot be divided by 3.)
Sudokupad (no answer check)

Interesting constraint. Thank you very much for creating and sharing this lovely puzzle - and for remembering me that I hadn’t solved it yet.

That was fun! Got some pretty interesting decisions in which cells to focus on.
