Middle Miracle

(Published on 27. January 2026, 16:15 by Duarte-Carvalho)

Normal sudoku rules apply. Any two cells separated by a knight's move or a king's move (in chess) cannot contain the same digit. The numbers of two orthogonally adjacent cells may not be consecutive. Digits in the same relative position across all boxes must be different.

I loved it, true true, the disjoint set rule is redundant (actually avoided it to be sure)
but I saw at least one shortcut that you could take (row 5's six or four are quicker to spot with it)

Anyways, really nice puzzle that indeed kinda solves itself once you got the "colours" -in my case- down

pretty sure the disjoint set isn't needed.
definitely, after solving 456, it is NOT needed.

Neat break-in, but it does kinda solve itself once you place your first number.
Still, fun to go through it anyway.
