Rules: Chaos construction: Divide the grid into nine orthogonally connected 9-cell regions. Place the digits 1–9 once in every row, column, and region. Arrows: In cells with arrows, the digit equals the number of cells in its own region (including itself) visible in the arrow directions; sight is blocked by region borders or the edge of the grid.

Solution code: Row 7 with "/" for region borders (e.g. 123/4/5678/9)

As a weaker solver, 1 star difficulty is my happy place but there is something about these pointing and counting arrow puzzles I have to give a go.

I suspect it's because the arrows tell me the correct place to focus, everything can get recorded on the grid and no sums are needed.

It's just a case of one option is right and the other wrong and I can get the satisfaction of solving a puzzle people rate as 3 star difficulty which makes me feel clever. Thanks for making.

It took me a while to solve, but it was pretty smooth all the way through.

I liked how the arrows interact.

I wonder if more could be made from this ruleset by having cells with an odd number of arrowheads.
