Normal sudoku rules apply.
Yin-Yang: Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected, all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected and no 2x2 square is completely shaded or unshaded. Every dot must touch a shaded cell.
German Whispers: Adjacent digits within the shaded region must differ by at least 5.
Kropki Pairs: Digits joined by a black dot are in a 2:1 ratio. Digits joined by a white dot are consecutive.
Solution code: column 7

What a lovely puzzle! With the slight help from Simon with the break in, I managed to get halfway until I got stuck. Eventually I spotted a 67 pair in column 2 that I missed and solved it soon after that.
I solved this 4/5 quite quickly to my surprise (only 2.5 hours). I found the logic and rhythm very nice. It felt like following a trail of crumbs.

What an adventure.
My final time was 336:48, probably not something to brag about. But I have been stuck for a long time and kept comming back to see if I could see something.
I was convinced I was missing some implication of the rules. I found the right place in Simon's solve, and the penny dropped immediatly when he said that there needed to be a 4 on this white dot (slightly before his one hour mark).
Hours wasted on that... Loved it.

Brilliant puzzle! The basics are important and not that hard to discover, but the puzzle itself is a real challenge. Thanks

Took me quite to figure out the implication of the rules. I was staring at the grid and randomly coloring, hoping something would pop out. Once I got the initial start it was very smooth!

This was a lovely puzzle with some unexpected logic and some really interesting interaction between the constraints, the sudoku and the shading.

This one was pretty rough for me, but that might be due to my lack of experience with yin-yang

brilliant.
unfortunately, i ran out of paint, and was unable to complete the colouring, and so was unable to resolve the final deadly pattern - lol
