Today I am presenting Dutch Flat Mates with modifier cells.
I estimate difficulty to be 2.5*.
I hope you will enjoy and I would be really grateful for all the comments and ratings.
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Dutch Flat Mates: Every 5 in the grid must have a 1 directly above it or a 9 directly below it. It may have both, but it doesn’t need both.
Modifier cells: Every 5 in the grid has value equal to its digit increased by the digit(s) of its flat mate(s) (1, 9, or both). All 1s and 9s which serve as 5s' flat mates have value equal 0. Remaining digits have values equal to their digits.
Antiking: Identical digits cannot appear in cells a chess king’s move apart.
Region sum line: Box borders divide a blue line into segments which have the same sum of values. Different lines may have different sums.
Renban: Values along a purple line form a set of non-repeating consecutive values in any order.
Kropki dots: Black dots separate pairs of values where one is double the other.
If you liked this puzzle, I recommend trying out my other puzzles: The Erica Series:Solution code: First (1st) row of the grid from left to right.
