Parity Fun 7

(Published on 10. January 2026, 12:58 by galium_odoratum)

This ruleset has probably even more potential, but I wanted to keep it a bit easier this time (probably 1.5 difficulty once you understand whats going on). Have fun!

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Region parity lines: The blue lines are separated into segments by the box borders. For each individual line, all segment sums (=sum of all digits on a segment) have the same parity (odd/even). The crossing lines between box 6 and 9 are two distinct lines (also emphasized by slightly different colour when opened in Sudokupad).

White Kropki dots: Digits separated by a white dot must be consecutive.

Box matches: There must be exactly 6 occasions where a digit matches its box number and its position in its box at the same time (e.g. a 6 in r5c9 would match these criteria).

This puzzle was such a pleasure. It was fun colouring almost all the way and how everything resolved at the end. I enjoyed the idea with the box matches especially.
Thank you for setting!
