Parity Fun 6

(Published on 9. January 2026, 19:15 by galium_odoratum)

I decided to rename the series from Parity Party to Parity Fun to avoid potential confusion with the already existing rule with this name (which I was not aware of). Anyway, I hope you have fun!

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Parity between lines: The two circled ends of the same line have always the same parity (odd/even). Digits along a line must be between the digits on the circled ends, but only when they have the same parity as the digits on the circled ends (digits of the opposite parity just ignore the between lines). There must be at least one digit of the same parity as the digits on the circled ends on each line.

Anti-king: Diagonally adjacent cells cannot contain the same digit.

Cages: Digits in cells with cages must fulfill the statement in the topleft of the cage.

I found this puzzle quite hard. Took over an hour to get a single digit. Proud I could solve it!

Interesting ruleset, nice construction. Thanks!

Very nice puzzle! I was stuck at one point, but then I looked at the right place and everything flowed nicely after that. The solving path was surprisingly narrow and logical, but a 3* for me. I enjoyed it, thank you for setting

That took me a good long while, wound up mixing colors and corner-marks to help keep track of my unknowns. Either this is 3* at least or I missed something really big really early.
