Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply, i.e. each row, column, and 3x3 region has to contain the digits from 1 to 9 once each.
- X-sums: A clue outside of the grid indicates the sum of the first X digits in the respective row or column where X is the first digit seen from the clue.
- German Whispers: Adjacent digits on a green line must have a difference of at least 5.

Midsolve quite harder than 2* for me. Maybe I missed an easier deduction. Very fun puzzle. Thanks :)

You are much welcome, Christounet, thank you for your comment! The mid-solve surely has an increase of difficulty compared to the opening (nothing too complex, but a little heavier on the scanning). I was not quite sure myself, but testing suggested it should be 2* and I did not think it was 3* overall. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!
