(Published on 7. November 2025, 01:27 by ralphwaldo1)
Doppelgänger: Fill each cell of the main grid such that
- Every row, column and box cotains a 0 and eight different digits from 1-9
- No two rows, no two columns and no two boxes may be missing the same digit
- For each 0 in the grid, the digits missing in its row, column and box must be three different digits
- Fill each outer cell with the digit missing from the corresponding row, column or box.
Split Peas lines:
-
Digits on green lines sum to a 2-digit number where the digits are taken from the two circles at the ends of the line, taken in one order or the other
- Sections of lines not in marked cells contribute nothing to the sum
Solution code: The missing digits from each column from left to right

Man, that was hard. Really satisfying at parts, especially revisiting earlier clues to find new insight.
Did get very stuck at the end after finding 5 or 6 0s, wound up just guessing on a binary choice and followed it through.

One of the smoothest and most approachable of the recent influx of doppelganger puzzles, though not without a bit of a kick! Very nicely set :)
