- Entering correct digits may or may not clear the fog … somewhere.

it will be VERY hard to find the critical triple in the fog. therefore, it will be found useful for such puzzles to cover the entire grid with a YELLOW wash before starting.
!! this does NOT mean that you should WASH your monitor, or PAINT it yellow.
