Fun puzzle! It feels like there aren't going to be enough clues in the second half, but it all works out.
I was hoping the solution message would tell us if it's a puppy or a pastry. I guess there's no way to know

Das Rätsel ist witzig, aber noch lustiger ist es, wenn man "Chihuahuamuffin" googelt, falls man sich fragt, wieso das Rätsel diesen Titel trägt.
