- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Fog: The grid is partially covered with fog. Correctly placed digits will clear the fog from that cell and the surrounding cells. Guessing is discouraged and not required.
- Killer cages: Digits in cages must sum to the number in the top-left corner and cannot repeat.
- X Sums: Clues outside the grid gives the sum of the first X digits in that row, where X is the digit closest to the clue.
