P-sum

(Published on 18. February 2025, 12:56 by psninn)

This was a spontaneous attempt of mine; I originally wanted to make it more challenging, but in the end, it became so simple.

Rules
Fill in the digits 1-9 in each row, column, and box without repeating.
A number N outside the grid means that for every two (distinct) cells in the corresponding row or column whose positions sum to N, the digits in those cells sum to N as well.(For example, 8-527916348 means 8=digit5+3=position1+7 and 1267 similarly)

Really creative! Pretty easy puzzle by itself, but I could see it working well with other variants.

Fun rule set and puzzle. I’m excited for more of this and would love to see this rule set with some ?s

I initially got tripped up by the rule set because I only read them on SudokuPad. The clarified rules are great. Can you change them on SudokuPad as well?

The question mark clues do indeed increase the interest and difficulty of the puzzle.

Thanks for the rephrasing, @efnenu! I couldn't figure it out.

The description of the rules has already been changed.

Very smooth and beautiful puzzle, thank you, psninn!

Understanding what the rule meant took a bit of time though. I think it could be rephrased? The best I can come up with is: A number N outside the grid means that for every two (distinct) cells in the corresponding row or column whose positions sum to N, the digits in those cells sum to N as well. (The cell next to the clue is in position 1.)

Thank you for your suggestion. I will make the necessary changes
