This is a Sudoku with standard variants, meant to showcase a certain idea. Multiple testers got completely stumped on this puzzle, thus I am submitting it as "very hard". However, I ensure you that there is a clean way through without required case-checking. Enjoy!

Rules:

Sudoku: Place the digits 1-9 exactly once in each row, column and box.

Killer: Digits in cages must sum to the indicated total. In some cases, only the parity of that total is given.

Thermo: Digits along grey thermometers must form a strictly increasing sequence, starting from the bulb.

German Whispers: Adjacent digits on a green line must differ by at least five.

What a fantastic puzzle Myxo! So enjoyable and rewarding to solve, and whilst having done so I can now agree that there is a clean way through it certainly still not easy to spot!

Brilliant puzzle, which took me most of the afternoon to solve! Seeing your hidden comment assured me that I did it the intended way. Thank you so much!

Given how much I've enjoyed your other puzzles, no surprise this was a home run for me. Really rewarding logic here, with a fairly well-telegraphed accounting problem, but moving from the initial labeling into the meat of the puzzle was hardly automatic. Really fun to break this one open, and can confirm no case checking necessary! Thank you for another brilliant entry.
