(Published on 17. February 2025, 08:01 by jcgodart)
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Diagonal sandwich : Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the digits along the indicated diagonal between either the first 1 and the first 9 seen from the clue, or the first 9 and the first 1 seen from the clue, depending on whether 1 or 9 is seen first. Digits may repeat along a diagonal sandwich, if allowed by the other rules.
Play online with Sudoku Pad.
Example and hint (highlight to read) : Digits may repeat, including 1s and 9s. e.g. 1319 is a valid sandwich summing to 4 ; 9951 is a valid sandwich summing to 14. Reading in reverse they sum to 0 and 5 respectively.
