Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits separated by a black bird are in a 2:1 ratio (one of them is twice the other). Digits separated by a white dropping are consecutive. Not all birds and droppings are shown. The sun is odd.
It really is, though, isn’t it? Giant ball of fire just hanging there in the sky? Anyway, the bird that’s flying alone in the distance is called Maisy. She’s okay, just stretching her wings a little. The other birds don’t hate her or anything. Philip is saving her a spot on the power line, just outside the frame. Philip likes Maisy, even though she’s also a bit odd. None of this is important, I just thought that you might like to know.
Solution code: Row 2, read left to right (9 digits without spaces)

Tell ya what? The sun really is odd. Never thought about that before, but I gotta agree. I mean, a big fire ball? Isn't that the thing wizards cast in DnD? What's it doing up there? Also, someone tell Maisy Icarus' myth before she flies too close to the sun...
I digress. The progression was funny, I got stuck a few times but then I got a flurry of digits at the end. Very, very satisfying indeed.

The way you're presenting a sudoku through storytelling is very nice and fun. Now I want all my sudokus to tell me a story prior to solving! Thank you Lorena!

That was a really fun puzzle with some lovely logic - some of which I probably should have spotted sooner than I did. Thanks.

My daughter’s comment on seeing this: “Why does Maisy poop sideways?”
Guys, she’s flying TOWARDS THE SUN. Duh!
