Xtra Terrestrial (Parity/Kropki)
(Published on 13. February 2025, 22:52 by damo_89)
When setting with parity lines recently I noticed they had an interesting property and decided to build a puzzle around this. Good luck!
- Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1 to 9 once each in every row, column and 3x3 box
- Parity Line: Adjacent cells along an orange parity line must contain one odd digit and one even digit
- Kropki: Black dots separate digits where one is double the other. White dots separate consecutive digits. No negative constraint, so not all dots are necessarily given
- Inequality: An inequality sign between cells points at the smaller digit
Play on Sudokupad
Hint: No bifurcation or guessing is necessary, however..
you may need to dust off those advanced classic sudoku techniques
Solution code: Row 1

Good puzzle, deserves a higher rating. It is quite technical but smooth when you look in the right places. Thanks
