Logic solvable
Position Sandwich
Inspiration for this type comes from Position Sums Sudoku.
Solve online in Penpa+ or in Sudokupad.
Like all of my sudoku variants, this puzzle can be solved by logic alone. Guessing is not required and also no sophisticated solving techniques are necessary; just plain and easy sudoku steps and of course the intrinsic logic this specific variant has to offer. In case you don't find that logic or get stuck, feel free to ask for a hint in the comments below this puzzle and I'll be happy to help you.
Apply classic sudoku rules.
Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the digits placed between the Ath and Bth digit from that side, where A and B are the digits in the first two cells.
Solution code: Column 4

The order doesn't matter. It can be BA or AB. I also had that question. That was a really nice solve :D

What a lovely variant! Very elegant setting for a quite approachable puzzle. Thank you again for creating and sharing another delightful episode.

ist nur AB oder auch BA in den ersten zwei Zellen möglich , also könnte im Beispiel auch die Reihe mit 74 beginnen?

Hah! That was so delightful. Thanks for the inspiration.
Also, I'm pleased to have gotten in before the 10th solver, quite rare for me in the SVS universe!!
