El Trece (Diagonal Killer Sudoku)

(Published on 7. February 2025, 20:31 by sujoyku)

This killer puzzle with diagonal constraint is the sequel to my puzzle "El Doce". I like to thank all testers and wish you joyful solving!

- Normal sudoku rules apply, i.e. each row, column and 3x3 region has to contain the digits from 1 to 9 once each.

- Diagonals: On the main diagonals, digits do not repeat.

- Killer cages: Digits in a cage do not repeat and must sum to 13.

Here you can solve the puzzle online:

Another very nice killer. How high will these sums go?

**
Thank you for your comment, MattYDdraig! I am glad you liked it. I do not know where I will stop (already experimenting with 15-cages though ^^). Glum_hippo and Piatato have recommended me a killer puzzle series that even went up to 37.
Kind regards, sujoyku

This was really fun to solve. Felt a lot more difficult than El Doce!

**
Thank you for your comment, HesitantEvil! I am glad you had fun solving. I agree with your assessment of difficulty, to me this one seemed harder than El Doce as well.

Lovely puzzle, I always enjoy math-y break-ins. I marked it as 2* as I solved it in under 20min

**
Thank you for your comment, kodra22! I am glad that you liked the puzzle. Considering difficulty: It might be between 2 and 3 stars. I thought the puzzle was a bit tougher than straight 2 stars, so I am happy to find out how you the solvers estimate it.
