I totally agree with Ragna, pencil marks are disjoint groups (I actually didn't realize they were I only found them to be illogical with the given set of rules), and if you follow those you will be on the right path, which itself was disappointing
(you sure you adjusted difficulty in the correct direction? It's maybe a 2* imho)
that, and that one digit is fully resolved right from the starting configuration ... ah well, thanks for sharing.
