Logic solvable
Tens Digits
Inspiration for this type comes from WSC2018.
Solve online in Penpa+ or in Sudokupad.
Like all of my sudoku variants, this puzzle can be solved by logic alone. Guessing is not required and also no sophisticated solving techniques are necessary; just plain and easy sudoku steps and of course the intrinsic logic this specific variant has to offer. In case you don't find that logic or get stuck, feel free to ask for a hint in the comments below this puzzle and I'll be happy to help you.
Apply classic sudoku rules.
Clues in the grid indicate the tens digit of the product of the two digits in the two adjacent cells. (For example: between a 7 and a 9 goes a 6; 7x9 = 63
and the tens digit is 6.)
Solution code: Column 8

At first glance I thought this ruleset was quite weird - but this leads to surprisingly neat deductions! Thank you very much for creating and sharing another great SVS-episode.

Enjoyed the ruleset and working out the logic behind the clued cells. The regular sudoku after that took a little longer for me.

I was asked what puzzle I would like to solve for my 1000th. You have created so many variants so I chose your latest one. This was a pleasure to solve and surprisingly beautiful the way it unwound. Thank you Richard for everything you give to the puzzling community.

Cool ruleset and puzzle! Fairly easy, although I struggled a bit toward the end.
