Quad index
(Published on 31. January 2025, 09:24 by ark29)
Normal sudoku rules apply [Place the digits 1-9 in every row, column, and 3x3 box]
159: Digits in column 1 indicate the column in which the digit 1 appears in that row (e.g. if r4c1 is a 6, r4c6 is a 1). The same is true of column 5 and the digit 5 and column 9 and the digit 9.
Quadruple rules: A digit inside a white circle must appear in at least one of the four cells surrounding that circle.
Digits cannot repeat across both marked diagonals

Thanks for the puzzle! The interactions between the circles and index lines were not obvious at first but made for a pretty satisfying solve

Found this much harder than 2 stars, but I'm quite bad at this indexing-thingy. Nice puzzle!
