Cages in the Fog
This is my first attempt at building a sudoku, I doubt it will be too hard and hope it won't be too easy. Hopefully it's fun either way though!
Rules:
1. Normal sudoku rules apply.
2. The grid is covered in fog. Placing correct digits reveals clues in the surrounding 3x3 area. No guessing is required.
3. The digits in a cage must sum to the small clue printed in the top left corner of the cage. Digits may not repeat within a cage.

I rated this 2/5 difficulty.
Very nice approachable killer FoW puzzle! This puzzle had several very nice steps/ideas that were interesting & well thought-out (and also fun to work through). The whole solve went smoothly and it was engaging throughout.
The break in was nice and approachable, and the first few steps were around 1/5 difficulty for me. The rest of the puzzle seemed to be around 1-2/5 difficulty. The reason I chose an overall rating of 2/5 difficulty is that I had a phase of the solve (in the earlt midgame) where I slowed down considerably due to a slightly harder-to-spot elimination/placement. This part of the solve was still approachable/straighrforward, but it did require some logic that felt in the 2* range. So based on that I would say that the overall rating is on the easier end of 2/5 difficulty.
As others have mentioned this was a very nice debut. Thanks for sharing!

Good puzzle. Quick note, the given digit in box 2 isn't necessary. I got it down to a naked single and filled it in before it was visible.
