Rules:

  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • Index Lines: Every line is an index line, and has an invisible diamond at one end. On an index line, the digit in the Nth cell along the line (starting from the diamond) indicates the position along the line where the digit N appears. For example: 3214 would be a valid line; the 1st digit, 3, indicates that the 3rd digit is a 1, and so on.

All feedback (positive or critical) appreciated!

Solution code: Row 5, read left to right (9 digits)

Loved this... a perfect difficulty level for me. It flowed so nicely, and I was never too far off knowing roughly what I should be doing next. The overall concept was a fresh new way of using index lines, which is satisfying and surprising because the type of solve path you end up on isn't at all obvious at the start. Really enjoyable

Clever colouring exercise which just made it appear all the more baffling how this was composed!
