Starting Even and Odd

There are two separate puzzles. One doesn't have anything technically to do with the other except for the optional solution code. I thought it nice, or perhaps appropriate, to pair them into one release. Enjoy :)
RULE SET:
Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 through 9 in each row, column, and box.
EVEN and ODD: Cells with a grey square must contain and even digit. Cells with a grey circle must contain and odd digit.
KROPKI: White dots are consecutive. Not all dots are given.
XV PAIRS. Cells separated by a "X" must sum to 10, and cells separated by a "V" must sum to 5. Not all XV pairs are given.

Apologies up front for requesting an 18 digit solution code, but it is for two puzzles :)
Please provide the digits from "Starting EVEN" column 8, and from "Starting ODD" column 9 (top to bottom, 18 total digits no spaces):

The even one feels like 1.5 stars, the odd one 2.5, maybe even 3 stars.

Starting Even is a 1*, Starting Odd a bit tougher. Enjoy :)
