Entropical climate 2

This puzzle was created for Scojo's weekly setting prompt featuring ‘Thermomters’.
Global entropy is one of my favorite constraints, and it’s been a while since I incorporated it into a puzzle. The estimated difficulty is 2.5. For an extra challenge, try coloring the entire grid before placing any digits.
I hope you enjoy solving it!
Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 to 9 in each Row, Column, and 3X3 box.
Thermo: Along thermometers, digits must increase from the bulb end.
Global entropy: The low digits (1, 2, 3), middle digits (4, 5, 6) and high digits (7, 8, 9) are defined as three different groups. In the finished grid each 2x2 box has to contain at least one digit of each group.

Really satisfying to solve, some clever logic too. Not too easy, not too hard. What a lovely puzzle.

the most efficient way to solve this puzzle is to do ALL the colouring first (3 colours), except for a few cells in the corners.

Pretty tricky, but always somewhere to go. And the end is just really satisfying, to fill out each color.

très bon concept, j'ai adoré, mais j'ai eu du mal à finir car il y a plusieurs bonnes solutions.
J'ai les captures d'écran avec 841 ou 251 ou 241 en premiers digits et respect 2x2
very good concept, I loved it, but I had a hard time finishing because there are several good solutions.

These thermo / entropy ones always take me a good while to do all of the coloring logic but they are worth it in the end. Not terribly difficult, but one must tread carefully. 28:28 today

Did the coloring challenge in under 18 minutes and finished in under 24. Immensely satisfying solving path from start to finish!
