(Published on 14. January 2025, 16:08 by Will Power)

'I've been through the desert on a horse with no name.' (America, 1971) Normal Sudoku rules apply. DUTCH WHISPERS- Numbers on red lines (horse) are at least 4 apart from their neighbors on the line. The only 5 on red lines is the given one. RENBAN- Numbers on purple lines (Native American) are each a set of non-repeating, consecutive numbers, in any order. KILLER CAGES- Numbers in cages sum to 10. KROPKI PAIRS- Numbers with a black dot between them are in a ratio of 2:1. Not all possible dots are given. The picture is inspired by "End of the Trail" sculpture by James Earl Fraser.

Your cultural references please me immensely. They add education to enjoyment, which is a wonderful idea.

@drbs Thank you so much for the encouragement. I see you also did 2 of the sudokus out of several that drew inspiration from paintings ('American Gothic' and 'Son of Man'). Other works are Flora on Sand, Le Reve, The Scream, Sistine Chapel, Starry Night, The Thinker (sculpture), and I'm sure there are others, if you look in my archives. Note that I tried to pick one work of art and artist from each country. 8-) Peace to you. -Will Power

Good puzzle. Renban line is not needed for the solve though. I ignored it and it solved just fine.

Loving the classic rock series! I used to sing this song with a cover band, good times! Thanks!
