Quantum Entanglement

(Published on 6. January 2025, 06:26 by Scojo)

Rules:
  • Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
  • Entangled Cages: Every cage in the grid is paired with exactly one other cage of the same color. Digits may not repeat within a pair of cages, and when combined, sum to a concatenation of the two numbers in the top left corners of the cages. For example, if a 1 cage was paired with a 3 cage, the digits in both cages would sum to either 13 or 31. 0 is allowed to be the leading digit for sums in this puzzle.
  • Kropki: Digits separated by a white dot must be consecutive. Not all possible dots are necessarily shown.

I don't understand what solution code is asked. Finished the puzzle, but no clue what I need to enter. Solved it in 6hours, but am too stupid to enter the correct code ;-(

Okay, got it now ;-)

I loved the puzzle, lots of very nice deductions with many possible ways to approach. Thank you very much!

Brutal to start with maybe through bad marking of paired cages by me - once 2 or 3 sets of colours were done the rest became a lot easier but felt like a v slow and tough start!

That was fun. Thanks, @ Scojo :).
(I got the cells in the solution code even before the puzzle was complete, so you might consider changing the code. Of course, I did complete the puzzle.)

This feels like a constraint with legs.
