Some long winded rules but I wanted to be thorough! Most are simple clarifications about what a line can do and should make sense as the solve progresses.

Normal 9x9 Sudoku rules apply.

Each given digit in column 1 must be connected to a distinct given digit in column 9 by one of four lines: Thermometer, Odd parity line, Even Parity line, 7-whisper line. Each line must be used at most once.

A correctly drawn line:

1) must not pass through a red dot, red wall or corner of a red wall.

2) can intersect other lines more than once but must never overlap two adjacent cells of another line (I.e if one line has the adjacent cells R4C3-R4C4, then another line cannot have adjacent digits R4C3 - R4C4 but could go R4C3-R3C3-R4C4).

3) satisfy the row range validity. The whole line can only enter rows that are within the range of rows from its origin and destination (I.e If a line starts in R4C1 and ends in R8C9, it can only enter Row 4,5,6,7 and 8)

THERMOMETER: Digits must increase from the bulb to the tip.

ODD PARITY: Every digit on an odd parity line must be odd.

EVEN PARITY: Every digit on an even parity line must be even.

7-WHISPER: Two adjacent digits on a 7-whisper line must differ by at least 7.

KILLER CAGES: Digits in a cage must not repeat and must sum to the digit in the upper left corner.
