The idea for this puzzle started when I solved a sujoyku puzzle where in adjacent killer cages had to share digits, I thought it was a fun idea and wanted to put a little spin on it, and this is what I came up with.
To prepare for this puzzle I set a 6x6 as well, which I will include as an example if anyone so desires.
If you have any questions feel free to DM me on Discord.
Happy solving!
Rules:
If two cages are connected by only a diagonal, both cages CAN NOT share any identical digits.

Tested this and it was a wow from me then. So much work done from so few totals. And the coloring logic was new and a lot of fun.
Well worth your time!

Thank you for this wonderful puzzle, Calvinball! As you know, I struggled a good deal when I tested it as the sleep-deprivated Jan 1-me. But that said, I loved all of the logic you put into it. The finale is just spectacular, what a brilliant construction!

Quite the coloring puzzle! Even more fun, the conclusion of the puzzle isn't so immediate. A fun hunt with some fresh cage logic. Certainly worth the time. Thank you!
