Hello solvers! This here is my third puzzle! Today is also the third anniversary of my boyfriend and I being together, so we decided to make a little sudoku to commemorate it the occasion, since he knows how much I adore sudoku puzzles.
While he isn't usually a solver himself, he challenged himself to solve this puzzle with me after we set it together. (And he did! Quite brilliantly I might add.)
Though my boyfriend and I are a m/f couple, we are both proudly queer individuals, so I thought the name would be fitting :)
Without further ado, here are the rules!:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- On thermometers, digits must increase from bulb to tip.
- In killer cages, digits sum to the small digit in the top left corner, and cannot repeat.
- Digits separated by a black dot have a 1:2 ratio.
- Digits separated by a white dot have a difference of 1.
- Along arrows, digits must sum to the digit in the given circle. Digits may repeat along arrows if allowed by other rules.
Here you can solve the puzzle online:
Solution code: Row 1 (no spaces)

26 cage not needed.
Reply: perhaps not, but the 12 and 26 cages are more symbolic in this puzzle :) 12/26 is our anniversary date
Oh. I see. Congrats…

I was wondering why the 26 cage is there, then I realized the date. :) Happy anniversary!
