Position Sums
Solve online in Penpa+ or in Sudokupad.
Apply classic sudoku rules.
Clues outside the grid refer to A and B. These are the digits in the first two cells from above or the left. The clue in the white background indicates the sum of A and B; the clue in the grey background indicates the sum of the digits on the Ath and Bth position from that side.
Solution code: Column 6

Nice. thanks. - changing to 9 digit solution codes ? :-)

Hahaha. For this one for sure. I created this one in autumn 2023 (I write for championships well in advance) so I had no idea anymore which part was the ending. So I solved it myself a few days ago (and remembered then very well that column 6 is the last one to solve.) So it felt ok to pick only one column. :-)

Fun puzzle, never seen this constraint before, but it felt smooth once I realized how it worked. I think putting a question mark in the white spaces would be clearer!

Thanks for your comment ordnanceordinance!
I don't think question marks would make things more clear. There is always a sum of the first digits, so a question mark doesn't add any information compared to blank space. Aesthetic-wise, I prefer the absence of any characters here. :)

@thebriskt
They are still the sum of the Ath and Bth numbers, you just aren't told what the sum of A and B are.

What's the deal with the numbers in grey that have no adjacent digit in white?
