Normal sudoku rules: Every row, column, and box must contain a complete set of the digits 1-9.

Modular lines: Any set of three adjacent digits along a modular line has three different remainders when divided by 3.

Cages: Digits in cages cannot repeat and must sum to the value shown in the upper left corner of the cage.

We categorized this puzzle as Heartburn, although for those familiar with modular lines it's probably more at the level of Indigestion, possibly even of the mild variety. For more information about our difficulty categories, please visit our website, Missing Deck Puzzles, where we publish a new puzzle each day.

Fun logic, particularly with how modular sets combine for allowable combinations of the various cages.

Interesting logic with the modular lines and cages at the beginning, and then some detailed sudoku afterwards...very nice combination!
